Eight homes in Southern Orange County were threatened by a deep landslide. The Coast Homeowners Association hired J.C. Baldwin Construction Company to remediate the problem with a series of caissons and tiebacks.
 
This project was comprised of 31 caissons
(36' diameter x 50'-80' deep), 31 tiebacks (280 kips load x 170' long) and a 372 foot-long shotcrete grade beam. Additional work performed included grading, drainage and all construction management.
